>>>I'd put in a joke about Bush but there is just nothing funny about a man who has squandered 200 billion dollars and more than 1000 American lives in his vendetta to try to vindicate the failure of his old man.
I see you have the Democratic talking points memorized. Is it too much to ask that some of you folks actually think for yourselves and present something original?
Whether you like him or not, this President was handed an economic recession, a stock market bubble, corporate corruption, and had to deal with the worst attack on this country in history. These are facts. They are not in dispute.
Even with all of that, we are seeing economic and market recoveries, providing for national security, liberating two countries of terrorist regimes, and he passed the largest education bill in history.
Yeah, what a bad dude.
Before you Kerry supporters spout the Democratic talking points on Iraq, you should actually take a look at what Kerry was saying BEFORE he decided that he wanted to be president. Don't take anyone's word for it, go look it up.
This is a man that over 20 years in the Senate has never had an original thought or plan. This is a matter of record (don't take anyone's word for it, go look it up). He's been told what to think for so long that it's no wonder he can't keep it together now.
Next, you should recognize that without the Democrats gaining control of the Congress (and they won't), most of what Kerry is proposing is simply a "pipe dream". Do you really believe that this Republican Congress is going to give him whatever he wants?
Do you realize that Kerry does not even have the support of his own party? The polls clearly indicate that the votes from Democrats will not be FOR Mr. Kerry but against President Bush (don't take anyone's word for it, go look it up).
Don't you find it the least bit interesting that the Democratic party could not nominate a candidate that would unite and have broad support with the majority of party members?
I don't know that President Bush is doing everything right. However, I know that he is doing what "he" believes to be right. I don't know what Mr. Kerry really believes about anything and neither does anyone else.
