That was newbie but ran out of room...
I am about to start filling up a binder as soon as my pages arrive, and when I do I have to figure out how I will organize the chips. I just realized there are only about 1 million ways to oganize them, by color, denomination, region, theme (Holloween, 4th of July, etc...), Hotel chain, casino names... I cant decide. So I am curious how the pros do it.
I was thinking of this:
1 section for my collection, 1 for traders, organized by the following hierarchy:
- Region1 (ex. Nevada) then by:
--- Region2 (ex. Reno) then by:
----- Casino (by alpha order) then by:
------- denomination (from low to high) then comes the:
--------- Roulette & NCV
This way I can go to the city of a chip to look for, not the casino name in alpha order. I just liked putting all the fractionals together or all the Millenium together but then I didn't know if I had all the denominations from that casino anymore! So frustrating. It's like I need 2 or 3 of each chip so I can set up differently organized binders!! Anyone else ever think about this for more than 5 minutes or I am I just making too much of it??
Thanks,
Dave C.
