There is NOT a problem with the rarity on this chip. I am amazed not one person has read my book to see this! Don't attorneys study books?
Jim Reilly's message states:
On the other hand, it is misleading to use the Campiglia-Wells values, which are based in part on the "rarity" code, without revealing that a hoard of the chips had been found.
My Rarity of 1 on the 3rd issue $5 mustard chip in question is the lowest we have meaning 2,000+ chips! This reflects the hoard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If someone would read our book & not jump in with false accusations perhaps half of this BS back & forth would not be happening.
To set the record straight as we say the hoard came out in 99. Our book in 2000. I will still debate that our prices are accurate on this $5 chip which is nearly always found well worn & valued at $10 to $25. IF mint I will say again, I will pay $100 for one as listed in our grade of CS95 as none have been found!
