apparently so. But to my reading it, everyone thinks he's a nice guy and have had good transactions with him. I have to admit, I agree. I've bought from a few times myself from him quite a while ago.

But as for the topic of if it's right to use an outdated book without stating such, most said they dont think its right. Not because the expericence people cant look things up for themselves, but because there are so many uneducated new chippers that can be mislead by these old values.

Most of the people that think its wrong to use an old guide value without stating the date of the quoted price source stated so in posts when this first started 4 days ago. Review the various threads over the past four days.

It's too bad that this has come down to such hostility. It certainly serves no good.

I will agree that Jim certainly has many people that have had good expericences with him. But that was never a dispute. It came from a post that was initiated not by me, but another person that was shocked. To refresh those that aren't sure where this whole thing came from, here's the original thread:
