I am certainly no expert, but it seems to me that the problem arises when there is a perceived or claimed increase in value due to the encapsulation and supposedly expert grading/authentication. That leads collectors to want to slab their collectibles, in order to get full value for them. Here, the company is claiming that the encapsultion + authentication doubles the value. If I am right about this, then there is no question that this is slabbing, or at least, has all of the same dangers to the hobby. Any comments?
