the "known price guide" is 4 years old and is irrelevant.

I would imagine that he is perfectly aware that there is a newer Chiprack guide available but he chooses not to use it unless it benefits his sales.

He may have given you a good deal but what about new folks just getting into the hobby??? BOHICA!
