Barry,
My comment was a joke in that over 100 people were more interested in Travis' post about nothing than in his post about Planet Hollywood. If that's an indication about what kind of business the casino will do, they could be in trouble! I should have added a .
Was Kelly at that party on Monday? I went to a going away party for some of the Aladdin casino execs that were fired by Planet Hollywood mgmnt on Monday and a couple of us started discussing the no-boxman subject. I personally think it's a bad idea that has been repeatedly attempted without success. They are trying to save pennies and it's going to cost them hundreds, if not thousands!
I was at Bally's recently and watched as the dealer counted down a $2000 buy-in, gave the player the chips, then dropped the cash, all without any floor supervision. After the player had his chips, the dealer called over the floorman to give him the players rating card. Does that sound like smart policy? If just three of those $100's were actually $20's, then the boxman's daily wage would have been paid for.
