I stayed at the Tropicana on my last visit to AC. I was checking out Sunday morning to go to the AC Chapter meeting. I had a small overnight bag with me, with my change of clothes and other stuff. It was no bigger than a large pocketbook. I was stopped from entering the casino. I was only able to stay in the aisles, which go through the casino, and then leave the casino. I could have been in just about any where in the hotel, and done extreme damage to the hotel and most of the casino with my dirty laundry, except at the tables. I only wanted to go to the black jack table to pick up a friend and head to the chapter meeting. Security refused to let me go. I offered to open my bag and show them my dirty laundry and leave the bag with them so I could go get my friend, they still refused. I saw another man walking into the casino with a rolling bag much bigger then mine and they got on the walkie talkies scurrying security people all over the place like they were under attack. I like to be in a safe place and understand that security measures are needed. But was just plain stupid. Anyone with a desire to, could easily attack the casino. The security procedures were just a nuisence.
