If it had been insured the post office probably would have denied the claim due to improper packaging. I remember the last plain white envelope I got.. the chips were taped down with packing tape so they wouldn't slip out like that.. only took a little off the finish of the Chipco chips when I took the tape off. The thing that was even worse was that the seller charged me mandatory insurance and then did not insure the package. The seller runs large ads in the club magazine so I would assume he would know better.
