There is NO redemption period in A.C. ... PERIOD!

However, having said that ... it does not mean that A.C. chips (including LE's) do not undergo destruction procedures ... which makes them obsolete in my naive opinion. Problem is, A.C. chip destruction numbers, or dates, are not generally made public.... and if a Jersey guy like me does not know, how would someone in Wisconsin know??
