To All,
I have received a few emails asking me to "read" the posts on this board involving Federal and/or State taxes. In addition, would I be so kind as to answer a few of the questions.
I thought about it and will do that. However, I do not have time to debate nor do I have time to deal with the self proclaimed board experts who hold themselves out to know EVERYTHING about ALL subjects.
Will Rodgers once said there is no such person as an expert..........there are those who just know a little bit more about a subject than others.
Now that being said.......please ask your questions one at a time and please do not mix topics. Here are a few "facts" that you should understand before we start:
1) Sales tax is the main issue in dealing with sales on the internet. The federal government usually gets involved when someone turns someone in OR the sales are many and often.
2) Casino chips are bailments. The only liability rests upon the casino to redeem upon demand. generally, the casino will carry the liability on their books as "Outstanding Chips".
Go ahead and ask your questions!
Best, Mr."P"
