My in-laws just returned from Aruba and brought me a bunch of chips!! A perfect gift.
They said that the Radisson is the new game in town as far as poker is concerned. Apparently, the Excelsior Casino at the Holiday Inn, which used to have the only poker, is hurting. The Radisson poker room is supposed to be very nice. I had never seen the Radisson chips before, and I have certainly not seen the poker chips.
The generic looking white chips are from the Aruba Grand Resort Casino. For the most part, they use tokens for $1 amounts, but had some of these white chips at the black jack tables, and my in-laws insisted on getting a few. They were so unimpressed with them, they left almost immediately afterward, and moved on. Apparently, the $5 chips have the name of the casino (the Centurion?), but not the $1 chips. Hard to believe they would use such easily copied chips.
I hope you enjoy the scan.
