Sutton,
The CCGTCC has a 10 day return policy. And it is a good policy. But it is not something to hide behind. I would take returns, within reason, for a longer period of time. Having a required 10 day return policy does not mean that you can't take returns for a longer period of time. And morally there are reasons to do so. 14 days is not so unreasonable and I would take a 14 day return.
In fact I know that you abused the CCGTCC's return policy with me to your advantage in a sale that I almost made to you. It was for a Dunes 1st issue $1 chip, if I remember correctly. We made a deal, you had a scan of the chip and ample opportunity to ask about the condition of the chip, which was in good used condition with no defects. When you got the chip, you complained about it not being in perfect condition and returned the chip. I gave you a full refund, but I was out the cost of shipping and insurance. It was not fair that you did not ask first about the condition of the chip if you had pariticular requirements. I do not run an approval service. You were within your rights to return the chip, but I was screwed out of the shipping/insurance cost. That is why I will not do any more deals with you.
So if you want to hide behind the rules and use them to your advantage. Fine. But it won't be with me again. It may be legal, but it ain't fair. My advise for anyone dealing with you in the future ... say that returns are allowed within 10 days, but buyer pays for shipping both ways.
