Howard Lederer's Poker Camp soon to be held at the Palms. The camp includes (I'm recalling this from memory, so don't shoot me if I'm not 100% correct)...

3 days accomodations at the Palms
.5 day tutoring by Lederer or other pro (Phil Gordon and Chris Ferguson)
2.5 days of tournament play with the 3 pros and other attendees. Reportedly there is $50K in prize money available in the tournament.

All for only $3500 (to the best of my memory).

My disappointment was not necessarily the high price of the camp, but the fact that you're only getting a half-day of tutoring and then the rest is tournament play. Unless I'm missing something, it seems like an obscenely profitable way for the pro's to line up a tournament. I would've thought it would've been 3 days of tutoring to give you your money's worth - I mean, that's why you'd go right? To learn something, not just to play in a tournament. Why not just host a $3500 buy-in tournament?? (not like I have $3500 to blow on poker camp anyway LOL )
