As long as the charges ae stated upfront it only hurts Ebay. The intelligent buyer will only pay a total of what the item is worth to him/her, and that includes shipping. So if you have a $25 item with a $20 shipping charge then you only bid $5 and ebay gets beat on their selling fee.
