Back in July when I started to get sick, I had sold some items on (this was also when my email started acting up). I was in and out of the Hospital and my Doctor's Office for a couple of weeks, so my mailings to the winners went out late.

I packaged them up in my distinctive orange, plastic, bubble mailers that I purchase by the dozen at Wal-Mart (note the mailer type). I asked a friend from work (we'll call him K here) to drop them off for me and mail them as he was going to the PO to pick up some packages. I gave him about $25.00 for postage and to apply insurance.

The next time I worked with K I asked him for my change, and the reciept. He said "Oh, I don't remember how much you had for change, and they didn't give me a reciept." He gave me $5.00 back. Normally this would have set off bells and whistles, but since one of the packages was being mailed and insured to Italy, I thought "Oh, well", but the reciept thing kinda nagged at me.

Now K, isn't one of my regular employees. He's a college student who returns to us each year. He's also new to our "Party Circle". But since this past November, things have begun dissapearing from some of our party locations, CD's, DVD's, Booze, my checkbook got stolen and I had to completely change my account. A friend's leather, "Patriot's" jacket turned up missing at work, and was found in K's duffel bag, neatly folded beneath the rest of his clothes. K, claimed it was planted there when confronted by Management and the Police.

But we didn't put 2 and 2 together till K was at a friend's house and it was just him and 2 other guyz, who are best friends. 5 DVD's and a stack of PS2 games went missing. Some of my friends cornered him, made him open his car, and recovered some CD's that were taken from yet another friends car.

They also said they found some ripped up packages. When I inquired about them, they said they found a couple of ripped up, orange, bubble wrap envelopes that had the labels ripped off. They also found the sealing flaps for a couple others.

Just tonight, I got a charge-back on my PayPal, plus the associated fees because the item wasn't delivered!

K is headed back to school now, and if I could get away with dropping onto his campus, and kicking his ass, I would!
