... are you sure they're wood, Michael? I have one of each of the two you have shown and mine appear to be made of injection molded plastic (they have the small injection marks on the rims).
I bought mine at a gun show in 1999 for $2.50 each. On 8-8-99, I posted a message about them on the board, to which Jim Noll responded with:
"They are in the Col.Guide to NV Casino Promo Tokens 1993 Page 32 Items 209.0 (right one) at $3-4 and 210.0 (left one) at same $3-4. Since H. Herz was one of the authors of this book, he usually has them for sale at his table at the shows."
For some reason, neither my message nor Jim's response show up in the archives when I search under our names. But, I happen to have printed out his response for my records. I don't own a copy of the token book and don't know if an updated version has been published.
Perhaps Howdy could give you more information.
