Tata report
Green Valley Ranch executive Michael Tata's death was an accident caused by fentanyl and alcohol intoxication, according to the Clark County coroner's toxicology report.
Insiders say that if Tata, the hotel executive who was prominently featured in the Discovery Channel's "American Casino," was using fentanyl, a potent painkiller, he was "playing with fire." An opium-based narcotic, fentanyl is nearly a thousand times more potent than street heroin.
The designer drug can interfere with breathing and can "freeze" chest muscles.
"It's a morphinelike drug that's most commonly used in terminally ill patients," one source said.
Tata, 33, was found dead at his home July 6.
