I did the same thing at the same casino! I only bought 1 rack worth of chips, but I walked right out with them. The cashier told me, "What they don't know won't hurt 'em", when I asked about keeping the chip rack. It felt strange but why is it a big deal? A casino is just like a big gift shop. You go in to buy chips and leave as a another satisfied customer, what's the difference? Are you not suppossed to leave with them? You bought them right? I guess they would rather you just rent them (buy them and lose them back in a game) and not buy them, but it costs the same, why give them back? I bought 'em, I'm keeping 'em!
Is there anything in writing saying you are not allowed to take them with you? Honestly I thought it was perfectly ok and legal to take them, as many as you want, with you. Is that not right?
