I think the debate between you and Jim P predates this BB. I don't even remember which chip it is.
I will say that I paid way too much for "all I have left" of the five Borland _FAKE_ chips that I have. But the reason was to have a representative sample to examine, not just a smattering of different chips.
That alignment theory is correct as an easy tell that the chips are Borlands.
Keep this in mind. The dice are at 12 o'clock on all of the Die Cards, both sides, coin aligned.
The dice are always on the left, 9 o'clock on the Nevada molds, always coin aligned.
I drew this conclusion from using eight different Borland Fakes, and since you have many more, it may not hold true for all, but it looks like it's true of the majority.
I'm off to the races and when I get back Monday I'll shoot off a scan of a stack of these. I have under a dozen of each chip, some cases only two, but I can scan 10 that are nearly identical, side by side, if anyone wants to see them. David requested this for his viewing.
