Ever Ruin A Chip? sad

Have you ever ruined a chip and if so... what did you do with it?

Two I remember were both small town and almost 50 years old. The first was a H value hotstamped Christy & Jones w/inserts that I got off eBay when I was a rookie in the hobby. Too enthusiastic with somesort of cleaner and managed to remove at least half the perfect hotstamp! Grrrrr. It now sits on my desk in a casino drinking glass stacked amongst some common roulettes... I can see it from here although its been years since I've held it I can still envision it's poor deformed face. sigh.

The next screw-up was more recent. A $60 beauty from my fav small town. It got lost on my desk in the shuffle of sorted/scanned and unsorted/unscanned chips , cards, flips, postcards, pale ale empties, my sleeping cat and a hunnert Blockhouse Cardroom chips. vbg I thought I spotted an Oreo under my desk but I hate those silly cookies. Picked it up and it was my new black small town horshu mold...busted clean in half!

One dead chip.

What would you do with it?
