that there's "undrilled" chips that used to be drilled!
Before investing any large amount in an undrilled example of a chip, where there are a lot of drilled examples known, you'll probably want to have it x-rayed.
We have several drilled chips in our collection, the drill hole is just another "chapter" in the chips history. We collect casino stuff because we enjoy it, not for potential future value. I'd rather have a chip that someone carried in their pocket, on a keychain, (hopefully as a good luck piece!) than a mint-out-of-the-box-never-saw-a-table chip. I know most chip collectors don't share that philosophy!
