David,
Forgive me for butting in to your thread, but I think I have a valid observation regarding usage of the logo.
It is not unheard of for an organization of which one might be a member to have certain stipulations regarding use of its logo in order to avoid the appearance that the member's activity directly represents the organization's official positions or opinions.
For example, here in the USA is an organization called Better Business Bureau. This is a "watchdog" organization to which consumers may direct inquiries or complaints regarding a businesses practices. The display of the Better Business Bureau's logo is meant to show the the member complies with certain business operating standards. However, the logo is displayed in this manner: Member Better Business Bureau.
I believe that the intent of the CC & GTCC logo usage policy is similar to that of the BBB.
