Ok, this is my Mom's Favorite joke:

"Momma, Poppa and Baby Carrot were walking through the field when Poppa Carrot heard the ominous sound of the tracktor bearing down on them.

He had just enough time to pull Baby out of harm, but unfortunately Momma got hit. He called an ambulance, and followed it to the hospital.

After waiting at the hospital several hours, Doctor Beet came out and told him the diagnosis;

I have some good news, and some bad news, he said.

The good news is that your wife will live, the bad news is that she'll be a vegetable for the rest of her life!"
