Rick, I believe most fast food restaurants are always looking for help. Some start out at minimum wage, but advancement is always possible with experience. Locally, In N'Out Burgers are offering $8.75¢ to start. How about a morning paper delivery route? Try a local car wash.
Try developing your own Lawn service route. If your mechanically inclined, maybe hire yourself out as a handyman by distributing leaflets around the neighborhood.
Probably the easiest way to get some money is to cut out:
1-eating out
2-smoking or drinking (if you do so now)
3-selling your car and buying an older model
4-find cheaper living quarters
5-or go to your local library and seek out books listing many second jobs available to most everyone.
It is very difficult for me to believe that a healthy 37 year old can't find some sort of second and third job.
I do wish you good luck in your quest of a second job if your really trying.
I do give you credit however, for not standing at an off ramp and begging for money.
