This mold is sometimes called an "oil can" mold, sometimes a "lazy N" mold, an sometimes just an "N" mold. Whatever you call it, it's not often seen.
After checking with a couple of our more prominent chip historians, its original manufacturer is still not known.
This particualr example, a $1 chip, was found in Ennis, Montana. Supposedly, it was used in a local card room in that area.
This chip is the August Special on the Chips Off the Old Block website. It is priced at $15 + $2 P&H, $17 total.
If you'd like to add this chip to your collection, just send me an e-mail or call me toll-free at 1-888-CHIPS-97 (1-888-244-7797).
