When I was in Las Vegas during the June Convention, someone tried to cash one of my TransAm fantasy chips at the Golden Nugget!

I went down to the Golden Nugget for thier daily Noon tournament. After I was knocked out, I played in a $4-$8 cash game waiting for my friend to finish out. (btw, he finished first both days we played!).

I had all white $1 chips in front of me and was using one of my red TransAm chips to protect my cards. An Asian gentleman asked to see my red chip that I was using. He checked it over and said he'd give me 5 white for it. I was surprised he wanted to buy it from me so I said "sure!". He later got up and left the table and went to go cash his chips in. He then came back to the table wanting his money back because the cage wouldn't take it!

Geez, I thought he wanted it because he liked it. I guess he thought I like white chips and was helping me get rid of my lone red chip. It got a good laugh at the table but I just glad he (or I) didn't get in trouble for that misunderstanding.
