I was on a hill in Hoenfels (spelling??) Germany when 81MM mortars were dropped in on us. No, not by the Germans.

I was in a helicopter assult unit. They dropped us, we assulted, and our own 81's started dropping short. 2 dead. The 81's seemed like the biggest gun in the world that day.
