You could have a receipt from the post office if you brought in the package to be weighed and stamped. It does not show the exact address, but it does show the zip codes.
But it rarely comes down to this. I have shipped 100's and 100's of uninsured packages without delivery confirmation and without a problem. The problem that I have experienced the most with shipping is someone sending a chip unprotected in a regular business envelopment and the chip has been removed from the envelope and all you get is an empty envelope. I have also had automatic mail sorting machines choke on a chip in a regular business envelope. And then you get a mangled envelope with no chip. Always use bubble mailers or boxes when mailing chips.
