Background: I'm trying to obtain some of the chips in the picture below, to round out my James Bond/Circus Circus collection. In the movie, Bond cleans up at a craps table, and Lana Wood ends up taking quite a dive out the window...
I've searched out many mega-James Bond collectors (including a couple that heavily collect chips from Bond movies), and none of them have EVER seen these plaques up for sale/trade/auction. Nobody knows anything about them - who made them, etc.
Here is my question to the Board:
-Diamonds Are Forever was filmed in '71, mostly at Circus Circus: does anybody know if these were industry-standard or Circus Circus-standard high-roller plaques back then?
-If these were generic back then, does anybody have any idea which company made them?
-If nobody on this Board has ever run across these (as industry standard or Circus standard plaques), I have to assume they were prop mock-ups just used in this movie...
