You are a lot more accurate in your post than Jim Pierre is. In addition, German submarines were sinking our merchant Marine ships long before we formally declared war and we did not lose 450,000 lives in WWII it was closer to 250,000 which is nothing compared to the 25,000,000 lives lost globally in WWII. It is sad indeed that there are those who think we should never get involved in any war are the same folks that would rather be living under tyranny.
