I most always use del. confirm tracking when ever possiable - The cost is min. - I had a Priority mail / comfirm del. Insured pakage take 4 1/2 months to go from WI. to CA. - It finally got there - so I asked the post master if I had claimed the Ins. on it and it finally got there what would the P.O. due - The postmaster said " we would want our $$ back - It did get delivered" - So now if I insure a package , it's just a formality - But I use confirm / del.as much as possiable - Hint : if 1st class mail is 1/4" thick you can use confirm del. - use a wod of paper to make package thicker .
