I'm surprised the auction did as well as it did. Although Harvey's is desperately trying to duplicate the release of the Sammy Hagar chips by the Hard Rock, they have a few very relavant things missing:

1. They aren't the Hard Rock. Harvey's doesn't have the huge collector following that the Hard Rock does, nor does it have the crossover following. A simple example of supply and demand.
2. They didn't have a large bulk of the issued chips going to Sammy and his posse and friends at a big dinner. Again; supply and demand
3. The release wasn't as dramitically limited as it was with the Hard Rock Sammy release. Once more; supply and demand.

Oh yeah, did I mention supply and demand?
