I am a relative newcomer to golf (last three years) after a lifetime as a runner. Like most things, if you don't take it too seriously it can be fun -- and good exercise (as long as you walk rather than using a cart).

I'm not very good at the game (still trying to break 90), but have enjoyed it immensely.
