Here's a shot of the current progress at Zia Park Race Track & Casino, being built in Hobbs, New Mexico. The casino will be first to open, sometime this fall, and what's there so far can be seen at the far left, about halfway down, in the photo. Horse racing is set to begin in 2005. The casino will be slots-only. No word yet on whether they will be TITO or have tokens, but I suspect TITO. The good news is that if you need anything, it's located about 2 miles from my house.
