That's the million dollar question - why? I did not contact him after the auction and ask to be let out of the transaction. He contacted me and offered it.

Oh well, I've bid many of this sellers auctions up trying to win them (including that Sands chip in the photo that would have gone for less than $40 had I not bid). I guess I just won't be bidding in the future.

I still have no hard feelings toward this seller. I just don't understand it.
