In today's mail I received from you five $1 CIC chips from Puerto Rico. Enclosed was a note that said you sent them to replace a few of the badly worn and dirty ones that were returned to me in my latest $1 round robin.

I posted a message a couple of days ago on this bulletin board and also sent personal email messages to the people who had contacted me saying they wanted to send me some replacement chips too. In the messages I thanked them for their generosity but asked that they please do not send any chips. Evidently you are either a very stubborn man or you didn't see the post because you sent me some chips anyway. I do appreciate what you did.

This is just one example of the type of people I have come in contact with since collecting casino-related items. These people are the "cream of the crop" in my opinion. It's also one of the reasons I belong to so many clubs and organizations having to do with collecting casino items. There are more good people than there are bad. Unfortunately, we seem to hear about the bad ones more than we do the good ones.

I apologize for rambling on. What started out as a thank you to Archie has ended up with me being on a soap box. It's just that once I got going I couldn't seem to stop.

So, just one more time. Archie Black, thank you. I'm very pleased to have you as my friend.
