Two Comments:

1. In this rush to describe which casinos will stay and go I would like to point out that both MGM-MANDALAY BAY & HARRAHS-CAESARS are not done deals. If I had a vote I would vote NO to both and I think the State of Nevada is going to take a real HARD look at these two mergers. Reasons to NOT allow these two mergers to proceed seem obvious to me.

2. The Hilton Hotels, despite being shunned by Caesars have a lot that is not out in the public eye about still being tied together.

Between several members of the HILTON family the number of shares they own in Caesars Entertainment is huge, although Caesars appears to be moving away from Hilton properties, it still is in fact a company that has several HILTONS on their board and millions of shares owned by same.
