I have no stake in the ongoing controversy between Pete Rizzo and Mr. Sutton (or any of the others who have criticized Pete). On the other hand, I DO have an opinion regarding misleading eBay auctions -- an opinion I have expressed here with some frequency and on which I have acted many times in writing to sellers who appear to have posted false, misleading or fraudulent descriptions.

In arriving at a conclusion about a particular eBay description, I agree with Pete (Sanders, that is!) that it is necessary to view the entire description in context to determine whether it is misleading.
