Resort & Indian Casino One Step Closer to Reality in Kansas City, Kansas
Kansas City, KS-- Wyandotte County is one giant step closer to a 210-million dollar resort and Indian Casino next to Kansas Speedway. The Kickapoo Tribe and The Sac and Fox Nation announced today they've purchased 80 acres of land just West of Kansas Speedway. The tribes say they plan to build a 250-room resort hotel, a 15-hundred seat theater and an 80-thousand square foot casino. However, Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius and President Bush still have to approve the project.
I am now taking orders for chips, but I heard on the news this evening that if it is approved, it won't be open until 2007.
