I don't think it's a done deal yet, but these mega mergers are bad for the gambling public -- when mgm bought mirage, the prices went up and have stayed up -- no more bargains and probably fewer comps. They are pricing all but the highest rollers out of town. They have forgotten that the small gambler built Las Vegas. They will destroy the goose that laid the golden egg.
