I don't follow all of this, but I just want to say one thing: I never click EMAIL links in sensitive pasword/financial-related matters. Rather, I go directly to the web site from my browser or bookmark, and then I type in passwords, etc. (Because I am always afraid it might be a fraudulent email.)
