More weird California Card room stories

First of all, do you even need a license to operate a card room in California?

Wow, It must not take much.

I went back to the Rancho today to buy some 50 cent chips.

They pulled some of the most beat up chips I have ever seen (casino unknown).

Next, the guy in the cashier's cage show me some 25 and 50 cent chips that they use for $2.00 drop chips. Now get this. The name of the card room on these chips....Antique Rose!

So now here's a hole in a wall card room that uses chips from 2 different card rooms, both not being the name of the actual card room!

So what, there's no rules or laws in California regarding what chips can be used for what?

Very strange, but then it's California vbg

I also found another casino call the Don Juan Club.

It looks new chip wise. The use a basic green mold (might be starburst) with DJ (hot stamped) on one side, $1.00 on the other.

As soon as I walked into the casino, it went VERY quite.

I was lucky to get out of there with a couple of chips (and my life).

Sorry, if I trade one of these chips it will only be for a Town Tavern chip vbg

If I make it, I might have even more stories tonight vbg
