Jim you are correct im most of what you say, but I think you are way off on the anonymous speech idea.

The Federalist papers were published anonymously by Alexander Hamilton John Jay and James Madison. They were trying to garner support for the thing we now call the U.S. Constitution!
Were they "gutless expressions unworthy of serious consideration"? After all we are talking about a Constitution of a country vs. discussion about the sagacity of a building fund.
I've asked this question but haven't heard a response "Has the membership voted to approve a Building fund"?
I am leaning pretty heavily towards a BF, but am open to hearing the other side anonymous or not.
