Byron; Just so we don't misunderstand each other ... I don't have a problem with members having "questions" about the club's building fund, in fact I welcome and encourage such questions.

I do have a problem with one person (Joe) who claims he heard the building fund drive being characterized as a "SCAM" and gives no background information as to why it was called a "SCAM" by unamed 3rd parties (plural).

I'm not jumping on anyone's case. My question is; "where is the scam?" Who is involved with a so-called Building Fund "Scam"? Does it involve one or more of the club officers? Does it involve a Building Fund Committee Member? Who is ripping off any club members in this so-called building fund "scam"?

I think that my questions are as legitimate as the one that Joe Pavlik has posed. Perhaps someone can address these questions as vigorosly and adamantly as those who are defending Joe's right to publicly post an unsubstantiated rumor.
