We are all from different parts of the country. "Scam" can be a slang term with many meanings.

If I thought (and I don't) that the club was having fund raisers for something that I didn't think they could actually accomplish, I might suggest that it is a scam.

The part *I* find hard to believe is that some of you find it difficult to believe that there are parties strongly opposed to the project that might use derogatory language to describe it.
