Is that a question or a statement? You might want to spend even a few minutes learning about freedons and the press in England and Scotland. Read one or two popular daily newspapers from England, before commenting on their freedom (of speach). They are fair more tolerant of freedom of speech than you might think. Just compare the number of slander suits in the US to those in England.

Inform yourself before making gross generalizations.
