There is so little banking at Indy, and the cars reach such high speeds that it has always (as far back as I remember) been the policy only to run on a dry track. I had long been an F1 fan until they became so elitest. Then I changed to CART, but they only run on a dry track, also. Their schedule includes both oval and road tracks. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that there are no ovals left in F1 racing.
