The upslope at the end of the track really helps to slow the cars down after the finish line. The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is the same way, as is the little track I was working last week in Rusk, Texas.

The NHRA nitro circus is at Englishtown this weekend. E-Town is one of only about five NHRA national event tracks that I haven't been to. One of these days, maybe...
