Personal opinion and method:

Once a trade/sale/purchase is agreed upon, whether with a club member or not, I send whatever is due from me immediately, provided the post office is open.

I request the recipient to notify me of receipt of whatever I send and I notify them of anything received. That sure clears up a lot of paperwork in record time.

Have started to keep a record of various parties who use the 'when I receive yours I will send mine' and have started to avoid same. Things like, I only ship on the last day of each month.

Just my personal opinion.
